Lucknow: LDA to Create 2051 GIS Master Plan for Six Districts

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has been appointed as the nodal agency for developing the Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region (UPSCR). It is currently preparing a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based Master Plan-2051 for the six districts included in the initiative. This digital plan will unify land use, water bodies, forests, green belts, and proposed developments over approximately 26,000 sq km into a single platform to enhance planning and monitoring.
