Mapusa Municipality Finds 49 Unsafe Buildings
MAPUSA: In anticipation of the monsoon season, a thorough re-inspection led by Bardez Deputy Collector Varsha Parab has uncovered 49 buildings within Mapusa municipal limits that are deemed structurally unsafe. The inspection, mandated by the North Goa District Collector, aimed to evaluate structural integrity and avoid possible collapses or accidents during heavy rainfall. The identified structures consist of 42 private buildings and seven government properties.
