Kanpur: Father-Son Duo Charged in PMAY Scam Involving 29 Victims
KANPUR: A father-son pair has been accused of defrauding 29 individuals out of ₹7 lakh by promising housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana in the Chakeri police station area. The victims, who did not receive homes or refunds, prompted one to file an FIR following a court order. According to the complaint lodged by Ashish Kumar from Kopar Ganj, Raipurwa, he works as a laborer and knew Pawan Kumar of Raksha Vihar, Shyam Nagar.
