Govt Approves 2.88 Lakh Homes Under PMAY-Urban 2.0

NEW DELHI: The Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) convened on Monday in New Delhi, sanctioning a total of 2.88 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0). With the latest approval of 2,87,618 houses, the total number of houses approved under the scheme has exceeded 13.61 lakh. BHUBANESWAR: The Housing and Urban Development Department has once again reprimanded the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) for not providing the required list of revenue villages for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0). NEW DELHI: The government has approved the construction of 1.11 crore houses under two schemes of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, with 95.54 lakh of these homes already completed and allocated to beneficiaries, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, reported in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
