Bhubaneswar Launches Four New Town Planning Schemes for 969 Acres

BHUBANESWAR: On Wednesday, the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) revealed four new town planning (TP) schemes that will cover a total of 969 acres. Government officials indicated that the TP scheme, known as Samrudha Sahar, is designed to encourage planned urbanization and expedite economic progress throughout the state via comprehensive urban and regional planning. As part of this initiative, BDA will implement TP schemes in several areas: Patrapada mouza across 330.07 acres, Bhagabanpur mouza over 264.33 acres, Bijipur, Bhagabanpur, Baliapada, and Kasipur mouzas totaling 290.67 acres, and a portion of Bijipur mouza covering 83.68 acres. BHUBANESWAR: To protect the interests of allottees of a major housing project in the city, the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has reaffirmed its earlier decision, requiring occupants with outstanding monthly maintenance fees to settle dues exceeding Rs 2 lakh within a month.
