Mumbai Property Registrations Up 8% in July 2026
NEW DELHI: In July 2026, Mumbai, under the jurisdiction of the BMC, saw 13,617 property registrations, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the previous year, as reported by Knight Frank India. During this month, the Maharashtra government generated ₹1,223 crore in stamp duty, up 8.9% year-on-year. This figure represents the highest July revenue recorded in the last 14 years. Compared to June 2026, the number of registrations rose by approximately 2% from 13,413, with stamp duty collections rising by 13% from ₹1,086 crore.
