JAMSHEDPUR: On Friday, over 300 beneficiaries were handed the keys to their new homes, developed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Birsanagar, Jamshedpur. The event was inaugurated online by Jharkhand Minister for Urban Development and Housing, Sudivya Kumar. A total of 322 individuals received symbolic keys to their new residences as part of the Birsanagar Affordable Housing Project under the PM Awas Yojana. Action Taken on Illegal Constructions in Jamshedpur, Dhanbad

Representative Image JAMSHEDPUR | DHANBAD: Officials from the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) have announced that buildings constructed in violation of approved plans will be demolished, and fines imposed on the owners if the unauthorized structures are not voluntarily removed. JNAC Deputy Municipal Commissioner (DMC) Krishna Kumar stated, “On Saturday, two homeowners on Thakurbari Road in Sakchi were fined ₹27,500 for setbacks violations, with notices issued under the Jharkhand Municipality Act 2011.
