GURUGRAM: On Saturday, the extensive enforcement initiative to seal illegal constructions and restore rightful use of public spaces continued into its third day in DLF Phase-3. Teams sealed 181 rooms in four paying guest (PG) buildings, along with 29 commercial establishments operating unlawfully within residential properties. GURUGRAM: The Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) will resume actions against illegal constructions in DLF Phase 3, following a May 29 order from the Punjab and Haryana High Court that restricted an earlier interim restraint to property owners involved in the case. Final restoration orders were issued on June 12 and 13 for properties not under any stay or status quo directives, directing owners to voluntarily rectify deviations from approved building plans. GURUGRAM: The Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) has ramped up efforts to tackle unauthorized constructions in stilt parking zones and illicit commercial activities in residential areas—major factors exacerbating the city’s parking woes.
