KIADB Acquires 838 Acres for Phase II in Chamarajanagar
Representative image MYSURU: The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) has successfully acquired 838 acres for the Phase II expansion of the Kellamballi-Badanaguppe Industrial Area in Chamarajanagar district. Initially, KIADB had notified 1,189 acres for acquisition. The majority of landowners have received compensation, with the remainder to follow once legal disputes are resolved. Officials have indicated that development has commenced on part of the acquired land for the creation of industrial plots.
