LUCKNOW: Approximately 4,000 defaulters in the city are expected to benefit from the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), which is launching camps for the One-Time Settlement (OTS) program starting Saturday.
This initiative allows defaulters to relieve themselves from penalties and compounded interest while clearing their dues to regularize ownership. Submitted applications will be processed within three months.
Defaulters who pay the full amount within 30 days will receive a 3% discount. For dues exceeding Rs 50 lakh, one-third must be settled within 30 days, with the remaining balance payable in six monthly installments.
A help desk has been established at the LDA office to assist applicants in completing online forms on-site. Additionally, allottees can apply at special camps being organized across various schemes.
LDA Vice-Chairman Prathmesh Kumar has instructed that no OTS application should be rejected or delayed at lower levels without his approval, ensuring timely processing.
This program will be active from April 18 to July 17 and encompasses both residential and commercial properties, including various income categories (EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG), as well as plots assigned to institutions, schools, charitable organizations, and cooperative housing societies.
