INDORE: The Indore district administration launched a major anti-encroachment operation on Monday, recovering government land valued at around ₹30 crore. Following instructions from Indore Collector Shivam Verma, the team focused on illegal constructions in the Khajrana village area.
“Approximately 30,000 square feet of encroached land was reclaimed, where 12 illegal houses were demolished. This action aims to restore the land to the state government,” stated Juni Indore SDM Ghanshyam Dhangar.
He noted that the market value of the recovered land is estimated at around ₹30 crore. The administration has issued a stern warning that it will persist in taking strict measures against land mafias and individuals illegally occupying government property. A significant police presence and revenue officials were on-site to ensure the operation was conducted without any disruptions to law and order.
