NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has set October 31 as the deadline for filing applications for conveyance deeds and authorization slips necessary for property registry in unauthorized colonies. Officials have stated that no new applications will be accepted after this date. Recently, the revenue department reported only about 2,000 applications from residents of 1,511 unauthorized colonies seeking these documents. NEW DELHI: Residents of over 1,500 unauthorized colonies in the city can now apply online for property registration via the MCD’s SWAGAM portal, starting Friday, officials reported. Earlier this month, the Centre introduced a new policy for regularizing unauthorized colonies in Delhi on an “as is where is” basis.
