Sixteen Illegal Structures Razed in Ujjain Area

UJJAIN: On Tuesday, authorities demolished sixteen illegal structures in Begambag, close to the Mahakal temple, in a coordinated effort involving the Ujjain Development Authority, municipal council, and police. “The plots were designated for residential purposes, but they were turned into commercial properties. The leases had expired and could not be renewed, prompting today’s actions,” stated UDA CEO Sandeep Kumar Soni. Representative image UJJAIN: On Wednesday, the Ujjain Development Authority, supported by an administrative team and the municipal corporation, successfully demolished 12 illegal houses across three plots in the Begambagh area, near the Neelkanth Gate of Mahakal Temple. The properties, owned by the Ujjain Development Authority, were leased for residential use for a period of 30 years.
