The plots in Kurmalguda vary from 200 to 300 square yards, whereas those in Thorrur range from 200 to 500 square yards. Telangana deposits ₹2,223 crore to Indiramma scheme beneficiaries

HYDERABAD: VP Gautam, managing director of the Telangana Housing Corporation, announced that the state government has deposited ₹2,223 crore this year into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the Indiramma housing scheme. “Funds are transferred directly to each beneficiary’s account every Monday, based on construction progress for each house. This week alone, ₹252 crore was credited to 22,305 accounts, marking the largest weekly disbursement since the scheme’s launch,” Gautam stated. Telangana’s property loss in fires exceeds ₹800 crore this year

HYDERABAD: From January to September this year, Telangana has experienced an alarming increase in fire incidents, resulting in a staggering property loss of ₹819.37 crore—the highest recorded in the state’s history over the past 11 years. In comparison, 2018 reported a previous peak of ₹260.16 crore in damages from 9,120 fire incidents, as per data from the state fire department. HYDERABAD: The Registration and Stamps Department is set to launch e-Aadhaar-based property registration, aimed at expediting services, announced Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday.
