Ghaziabad: GDA Requires Rooftop Solar Panels in Building Maps

Officials have stated that any maps not in compliance will be rejected immediately. As part of the PM Surya Ghar scheme, applicants are also required to pay a refundable fee upon map approval, which will be returned once installation is confirmed during an inspection. Minister: 2.3 Million Homes Now Equipped with Rooftop Solar

NEW DELHI: As of now, almost 24 lakh households in India have been equipped with rooftop solar systems under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY), as stated by Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Shripad Yesso Naik, in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
