MOHALI: In a landmark decision, the Punjab Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has mandated a real estate promoter to pay approximately Rs 25 lakh in delay interest to homebuyers. Punjab RERA: Recover ₹25 lakh from GMADA for plot delay

MOHALI: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera), Punjab, has instructed the Mohali deputy commissioner to recover ₹25,89,659 from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (Gmada), designating it as a judgment debtor for not providing timely possession of a plot auctioned in IT City back in 2016. The directive, issued under Section 40 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, empowers Rera to collect dues as arrears of land revenue. Punjab RERA Stops Motiaz from Selling Flats

MOHALI: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Punjab, has prohibited the Chandigarh-based builder Motiaz from advertising, marketing, booking, or allotting flats in its project ‘The Royale Sector 39 Extension’ located in Mohali. RERA Punjab chairman Rakesh Kumar Goyal issued an interim order after the developer failed to appear before the Authority despite numerous notices.
