Lucknow: ₹150 Crore Land in Gomtinagar Extension Cleared of Encroachments

Representative AI image LUCKNOW: On Thursday, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) demolished approximately 18 illegal structures in Gomtinagar Extension, reclaiming 10,500 sqm of acquired land valued at around Rs 150 crore. The operation was executed under the guidance of LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar. According to additional secretary Gyanendra Verma, the land in Maleshemau village was acquired in 2000 as part of the Amar Shaheed Path–Gomtinagar Extension scheme.
