LIC Housing Finance Q4 FY25 Net Profit Soars 25% to ₹1,368 Cr

NEW DELHI: LIC Housing Finance announced a 25.4% increase in net profit, reaching Rs 1,368 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 2025, compared to Rs 1,091 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The company reported total income of Rs 7,283 crore for the March quarter of FY25, an increase from Rs 6,937 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. NHB Tightens Refinance Rules to Prevent Home Loan Misuse

MUMBAI: The National Housing Bank (NHB) has implemented new regulations for refinancing home loans on properties that are still under construction. According to an order issued to home financiers, NHB will now offer refinance only for loans where less than half of the construction is completed at the time of the initial disbursement.
