Dust and Waste Discovered in Ghaziabad Inspection Drive
NEW DELHI: An inspection by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) revealed twenty-four instances of noticeable road dust and accumulation of construction and demolition waste in various locations across Ghaziabad on Wednesday. The assessment identified shortcomings in regular street sweeping operations, dust suppression efforts, and the proper handling and disposal of construction debris in certain areas. “The commission has instructed the relevant authorities to enhance dust mitigation strategies, including regular mechanized sweeping, targeted water sprinkling, and timely removal of accumulated debris,” an official stated.
