INDIORE: The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) and district administration are stepping up their efforts against fire safety violations, placing around 100 commercial buildings (G+3) under scrutiny. Officials have issued an urgent warning, giving building owners until April 8 to install mandatory fire safety equipment or risk immediate sealing and further legal actions. This initiative follows an extensive survey conducted by building officers and inspectors in high-traffic areas throughout all zones. Indore Buildings Have 15 Days to Meet Fire Safety Standards

INDORE: The district administration has initiated a comprehensive crackdown on buildings that do not meet fire safety standards. A 15-day ultimatum has been issued to all G+3 (ground plus three floors) and multi-storey buildings to address their fire safety deficiencies. “Commercial and residential high-rise building owners have two weeks to ensure their fire safety systems are fully operational. Effective Monday, special teams led by Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) will commence field inspections,” stated Collector Shivam Verma during a key meeting on Sunday.
