2,700+ EWS families find homes in Gurugram housing project

GURUGRAM: On Monday, a total of 2,709 EWS families received flats under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme, marking the realization of their long-held dream of homeownership. Each beneficiary will receive a 200 sq ft flat for a maximum cost of ₹1.5 lakh. The flats are part of group housing projects approved by the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) and developed by private firms including Emaar, M3M, DLF, Vatika, Ireo, Sobha, and Godrej. 6,000+ Affordable Homes in Gurugram: 4,728 Shortlisted Applicants

GURUGRAM: The district administration has received over 120,000 applications for the allocation of 6,743 affordable homes designated for economically weaker sections (EWS). The 1-BHK flats, priced at Rs 1.5 lakh each, are situated in private developer colonies and high-rise societies, providing beneficiaries with organized residential amenities. The booking process commenced on Thursday to ensure dignified housing for low-income families and facilitate their integration into planned urban environments, in line with the Chief Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme initiated by the Haryana government.
