Lucknow: LDA Requires Fire Safety Certificates for Building Approval

LUCKNOW: Fire safety is now a fundamental requirement for building map approvals in Lucknow. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has mandated that all buildings needing a fire NOC must present a valid certificate for map approval. LDA Vice-Chairperson Prathamesh Kumar announced this policy, which enforces compliance with the UP Fire Safety and Emergency Services Act, 2022, and Rules, 2024. LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority has made a decision not to approve building plans for houses on 7.5-meter-wide roads within 241 illegal colonies, even if mapping regulations are relaxed. This decision, taken at the recent LDA board meeting, aligns with the enforcement of the Master Plan 2021.
