LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has extended its special Diwali discount on ready-to-move flats until November 6. This festive season, 589 flats have already been booked, while 1,100 ready-to-move flats remain available for buyers.
Under this offer, buyers can receive discounts ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh, in addition to existing incentives. LDA Vice-Chairman Pratimesh Kumar explained, “The ready-to-move flats are available on a ‘First Come-First Serve’ basis. A generous discount offer was introduced from September 22 to October 22. Flats priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 50 lakh will receive Rs 1 lakh off, those priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 75 lakh will receive Rs 1.5 lakh off, and flats over Rs 75 lakh will get a discount of Rs 2 lakh.”
Additional discounts of 3-6% are available for full payments made within 45-90 days. The flats range in size from 500 to 1,900 sq ft, including 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK options, priced between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 1.08 crore. Government employees can take possession by paying 25% of the total cost, while other buyers can do so by paying 35% under a hire-purchase agreement. Most multi-storey residential schemes allow buyers to purchase multiple flats.
LDA VC noted that the flats, ranging from 500 sq ft to 1,900 sq ft, are available in various LDA schemes located in Gomtinagar, Janakipuram, Priyadarshini (Sitapur Road), Aliganj, Kanpur Road, Devpur Para, and Sharda Nagar.
LDA Additional Secretary CP Tripathi reported that the Devpur Para scheme leads in bookings with 382 flats, followed by Sopan Enclave-2 in Priyadarshini Scheme (56 flats), Ashlesha Apartments (18 flats), and Rashmi Lok Apartments (15 flats).
