DLF Plans ₹20,000 Crore Housing Sale by FY27: MD

NEW DELHI: DLF Ltd, India’s largest real estate firm, aims for sales bookings of ₹20,000 crore in the current fiscal year, maintaining a target similar to that of 2025-26, driven by a robust launch pipeline for residential projects in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Goa, as stated by Managing Director Ashok Kumar Tyagi on Thursday.

In a webcast for market analysts, Tyagi emphasized the strong performance of both the company’s housing and commercial segments and expressed confidence in their future growth.

Regarding the sales bookings target for the 2026-27 fiscal, he reaffirmed an annual goal of ₹20,000 crore. Of this, approximately ₹14,000-15,000 crore is expected from new projects launching this fiscal, with the remaining pre-sales attributed to the luxury project ‘The Dahlias’ in Gurugram.

During 2025-26, DLF’s sales bookings witnessed a 5% decline to ₹20,143 crore, down from the record ₹21,223 crore in the previous year.

“We’ve indicated a sales guidance trajectory of ₹20,000 crore. We anticipate creating new margins of around ₹9,000 crore annually, and we are optimistic about staying on course,” Tyagi noted.

When queried about the flat sales guidance, Tyagi mentioned, “We do not intend to chase pre-sales figures unnecessarily.” Instead, the company’s focus will be on enhancing profit margins and free cash flow from the residential sector.

Tyagi added that DLF possesses a significant land bank for housing project development, launching projects in response to market demand.

Looking ahead to FY27, DLF Home Developers Ltd’s MD, Aakash Ohri, shared that the company anticipates launching housing projects in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Goa, collectively expected to generate approximately ₹20,000 crore in revenue.

DLF, recognized as the country’s leading real estate company by market capitalization, reported a slight increase in consolidated profit, reaching ₹4,414.68 crore in FY26, compared to ₹4,366.82 crore in the former fiscal year.

Total income rose to ₹9,816.04 crore in FY26, up from ₹8,995.89 crore in FY25.

DLF has developed over 185 real estate projects covering more than 352 million square feet. The group also holds a development potential of 280 million square feet spanning residential and commercial sectors, including ongoing projects.

DLF’s primary business activities involve the development and sale of residential properties and the development and leasing of commercial and retail spaces.
