LUCKNOW: In response to a strong demand during the initial two rounds of the Anantnagar Housing Scheme on Mohan Road, where nearly 700 plots were allocated, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is reopening registrations this Diwali for approximately 500 residential plots.

The housing project spans 785 acres along Mohan Road and is designed to house around 150,000 residents. It features a contemporary grid layout with wide roads, underground utilities, and urban infrastructure that meets international standards. Additionally, an Education City is planned on approximately 100 acres within the development.

According to LDA representatives, the land price remains fixed at ₹41,150 per square metre. Applications can be submitted online, with allotments determined by a lottery system. Available plot sizes include 450, 288, 200, 162, and 112.5 square metres.

Furthermore, the state government has approved ₹750 crore for two new LDA projects: Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar. The finance department has initiated the transfer of funds to the LDA. The Varun Vihar scheme will cover around 6,580 acres on Mohan Road, while Naimish Nagar will be developed on over 3,670 acres in Bakshi Ka Talab. Both projects will incorporate residential plots, flats, commercial areas, and landscaped green spaces.
