MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has acquired a total of 25.7 acres of land in Pune’s Mulshi taluka through four separate transactions for over Rs 16.42 crore.
The acquisitions include four adjacent parcels in Village Pimpri, Mulshi, a region that has seen the rise of luxury second homes, private estates, and hospitality projects in recent years.
The largest parcel, measuring 10.8 acres, was purchased for Rs 7.08 crore. Kapoor also bought a 7.4-acre parcel for Rs 4.62 crore, a 5.3-acre parcel for Rs 3.32 crore, and a 2.2-acre parcel for nearly Rs 1.40 crore.
The total stamp duty for these transactions was approximately Rs 82.13 lakh, with registration completed on April 30, according to documents from CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics platform.
Details about the purpose of Kapoor’s land acquisition remain unclear.
Recently, Kapoor also bought a land parcel in Ayodhya for Rs 3.31 crore, reflecting growing investor interest in the real estate market of the temple town.
