GORAKHPUR: On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to enforce strict measures against irregularities in land lease allocations, emphasizing that any allotments made for financial gain will not be tolerated.
The directives were given during the Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple, where the CM engaged with around 200 attendees to address their concerns.
The Janata Darshan followed a two-day review of security arrangements and facilities for devotees attending the Makar Sankranti/Khichdi Mela.
During the event, the chief minister personally interacted with attendees, listened to their grievances, and ensured applications were forwarded to relevant departments with a mandate for timely resolution. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to providing justice and relief to all affected citizens.
Addressing a complaint from a woman about irregularities in land leases intended for underprivileged individuals, CM Yogi ordered an immediate investigation into the villages where these allegations have arisen. He instructed officials to establish accountability.
In response to crime-related issues, he urged police officials to take decisive actions against offenders and directed that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of welfare schemes.
In light of financial concerns expressed regarding a daughter’s marriage, the chief minister approved assistance under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme. He also assured that financial limitations would not hinder any patient’s medical treatment, directing officials to expedite proposals for financial support.
