NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has pushed back the application deadline for its planned 500-acre FinTech hub in Sector 11 near the Noida International Airport to April 29, from the previous April 2 deadline.
Shailendra Bhatia, the authority’s additional CEO, explained that the deadline was adjusted to coincide with an upcoming financial summit aimed at attracting global investors and industry representatives. “We have moved the bid due date from April 2 to April 29, with the technical bid opening now set for May 1. This change is due to the Money Alpha 360° summit, which focuses on finance, investment, and fintech, taking place on April 24-25 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. Many investors, institutions, and fintech innovators are expected to attend, and the authority plans to promote its Fintech City at the event to encourage more applicants,” he added.
The proposed hub will encompass core financial services, transaction processing centers, IT and digital services, and customer support operations.
According to the expression of interest (EOI), developers will have the opportunity to construct corporate offices, conference facilities, auditoriums, cultural centers, information kiosks, health clubs, and other supporting infrastructure. The hub aims to foster IT/ITeS companies, startups, and enterprises focused on digital banking, app-based lending, electronic payment systems, insurance technology, and international money transfers.
