Westridge to Sell 9.8% Stake in Aptus Value Housing


Aptus Value Housing stocks will be under the spotlight on Tuesday as private equity firm Westridge Investments intends to sell a 9.8% stake in a transaction valued at Rs 1,495 crore, as reported by CNBC-TV18.

The floor price for the transaction is set at Rs 305 per share, according to sources.

Aptus Value Housing Finance India experienced a 26% year-on-year increase in net profit for the March quarter, driven by robust disbursement growth and improved operational efficiency. The profit after tax reached Rs 207 crore, up from Rs 164 crore during the same period last year.

Disbursements saw a 10% YoY increase to Rs 1,064 crore, reflecting consistent demand in its primary markets. The company’s assets under management (AUM) surged by 25% to Rs 10,865 crore as of March 31, 2025, and it expanded its network by adding 38 new branches, bringing the total to 300.

Profitability indicators remained strong, with a return on assets (RoA) of 7.85% and a return on equity (RoE) climbing to 19.66% from 17.25% a year earlier. The operating expense ratio stabilized at 2.69%, and spreads remained unchanged at 8.71%.

Asset quality remained resilient, with gross non-performing assets (NPA) slightly increasing to 1.19% from 1.07% in Q4FY24. Net credit costs, including expected credit loss provisions, were stable at 0.29%. The company continues to maintain a conservative credit cost projection of 40–45 basis points for the upcoming year.

Aptus Value Housing price target

According to Trendlyne, the average target price for Aptus Value Housing is Rs 388, suggesting a potential increase of nearly 15% from current levels. Among 14 analysts monitoring the stock, the overall consensus rating is ‘Buy’.

The stock has increased by 16% year-to-date and has appreciated by 24% over the past two years. Aptus Value Housing currently boasts a market capitalization of Rs 16,931 crore.
