NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Attracts ₹50,000 Crore in Investment Proposals
During the Uttar Pradesh Global Growth Dialogue 2026 in Bengaluru, the state garnered over ₹50,000 crore in investment proposals, with over 15 companies signing memorandums of understanding with the state government.
The investments span various sectors, including industrial and business parks, global capability centers (GCCs), infrastructure, electronics manufacturing, and logistics.
Industrial and Business Parks: Horizon, backed by Blackstone, proposed an investment of ₹10,000 crore, while other notable proposals include ₹5,000 crore from Embassy, ₹5,000 crore from Raheja Mindspace REIT, ₹15,000 crore from Prestige, and ₹4,000 crore from Sattva Developers. Shriram Properties also signed an MoU for the development of private industrial and business parks in the state.
Global Capability Centers: Companies such as LG, Aon, MetLife, and Table Space have signed MoUs to collaborate with the Uttar Pradesh government. TeamLease has also signed a non-financial MoU focused on supporting GCC talent development in the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged in discussions with senior executives during three roundtable sessions that focused on urban infrastructure, GCCs, and foreign direct investment.
During the event, the Chief Minister outlined a vision for Uttar Pradesh as a GCC hub, targeting the development of 40 million sq ft of Grade-A office space and establishing 500 GCC units by 2031.
