MOHALI: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) has mandated a builder to refund Rs 5.45 lakh in excess maintenance charges collected from allottees and to secure the necessary Completion and Occupation Certificates. This decision follows a complaint filed by a residents’ association. The authority has emphasized that the builder must deliver all promised amenities as per the project’s brochure and refund charges for the excess area.
