Lucknow: LDA set to develop 10 sectors, grid road too in IT City soon

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will develop 10 well-planned sectors in its upcoming IT City project proposed between Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path. The grid road construction of the project, spanning an area of 2,858 acres, will commence next month. On Thursday, the authority inked a deal for 12 acres of land with a landowner under the land pooling model. ED attaches properties worth ₹55 lakh in Shine City case

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow zonal office of the directorate of enforcement (ED) provisionally attached properties worth Rs 55.07 lakh under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, in the case of Shine City Properties Ltd. The attached properties include a land in Allahabad in the name of Mohammad Javed, a resident of Allahabad. The ED also froze a bank account in his name. About ₹128 crore returned to over 350 homebuyers this year: UP-RERA

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP Rera) has claimed to have recovered Rs 128 crore from promoters who failed to complete their housing projects and deposited the amount into the bank accounts of around 376 homebuyers so far this calendar year. With this, UP Rera has, to date, transferred Rs 1,360 crore into the bank accounts of approximately 5,500 homebuyers who never received possession of their homes. “So far, we have issued over 12,900 recovery certificates (RCs) worth Rs 3,900 crore, predominantly in the national capital region (NCR). Lucknow police arrests individual for duping over 100 people

LUCKNOW: A man accused of orchestrating a massive real estate fraud racket targeting Army and paramilitary personnel was arrested by a joint team of the UP STF and Lucknow police. The accused, Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, 46, allegedly duped over 100 people by selling them fake or disputed plots of land across Lucknow and surrounding areas. LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority has begun the process of converting around 4,000 rented properties into freehold. LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will begin the allotment process for 334 residential plots under its Anant Nagar scheme on Mohan Road from June 10. The allotment will be conducted through a computerised lottery at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan over three days, in the presence of all 13,031 applicants.
