Prayagraj civic body to update building ‘khasra’ after 23 years
PRAYAGRAJ: If you’re a homeowner in the city and your ‘Khasra’ (land record) hasn’t been created, there’s no need to be concerned. The Prayagraj Municipal Corporation plans to initiate the preparation of a new ‘Khasra’ for both new and existing buildings soon. The process is expected to begin within six months; the last update was made around 23 years ago. The absence of a new Khasra has led to significant discrepancies in house tax.
