NEW DELHI: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will launch registration on October 27 for an e-auction featuring nearly 100 plots in key city locations. Officials indicate that the plots are categorized into six types, including newly-identified and reclaimed land.
The upcoming e-auction includes 17 residential plots in Rohini and Rajendra Nagar, 11 institutional plots (including religious purposes) in Rohini, 18 commercial plots in Pitampura, 44 industrial plots in Kirti Nagar, Mangolpuri, and Okhla, one CNG station plot in Yamuna Vihar, and two group housing plots in Dwarka and other areas.
“Prior to 2022, the e-auction process was held quarterly based on land records from various departments. We paused due to RERA regulations for 1.5 years but have now resumed with licensed property auctions; this is our latest initiative,” an official stated.
Registration will open on October 27 and close on November 17, allowing applicants to register and submit their earnest money deposits (EMD). A help desk will be available to assist users.
The DDA notes that online bidding for residential and group housing plots is scheduled for November 20, while auctions for institutional, industrial, CNG, and commercial plots will take place on November 21. According to the authority, this initiative, launching around Diwali, represents a prime investment opportunity in the city.
