LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will conduct a lottery for 332 residential plots under the Anant Nagar Housing Scheme (Mohan Road) at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan from September 8 to 10.
The draw is set to occur in Mercury Hall with applicants present, and will also be streamed live on LDA’s YouTube channel.
During the second phase of registration, from July 11 to August 10, 8,568 applicants submitted online applications for plots in Adarsh Khand. According to Deputy Secretary Madhavesh Kumar, the lottery will include 121 plots of 112.5 sq m, 37 of 162 sq m, 50 of 200 sq m, 105 of 288 sq m, and 19 of 450 sq m.
Additional Secretary CP Tripathi noted that applicants have been informed of the lottery schedule.
LDA Vice-Chairperson Prathamesh Kumar stated, “The Anant Nagar scheme, encompassing 785 acres, is intended to accommodate nearly 1.5 lakh residents. It will feature around 2,100 residential and 120 commercial plots, along with more than 10,000 flats across 60 group housing plots. Over 25,000 people are expected to benefit from 5,000 units for EWS and LIG categories, with additional housing available under PMAY.”
The initiative is designed with a grid layout, featuring underground cabling, wide roads, and modern amenities. Approximately 130 acres will be designated for parks and green spaces, along with plans for an Edutech City to provide hostel and residential facilities for students and faculty.
