LUCKNOW: The LDA will commence registrations for 332 residential plots under its Anant Nagar Scheme on July 11. This is the second phase of the initiative, offering plots ranging from 112.5 to 450 square metres available for online applications. Allotment will be conducted through a transparent lottery system for registered applicants.
The first phase saw participation from 13,000 individuals for 334 plots during April-May, with the lottery for those allotments held from June 10 to June 13 at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
The registration for this upcoming phase will be entirely online and open until August 10. Applicants can log in at this link to purchase the registration brochure and pay 5% of the estimated plot cost to complete their application.
LDA Vice Chairman Prathmesh Kumar remarked, “The response to the first phase of the Anant Nagar scheme was outstanding, and we expect similar enthusiasm for the second phase. The authority is dedicated to providing world-class amenities within the housing scheme.”
The Anant Nagar Scheme, covering 785 acres along Mohan Road, is designed to be a modern, eco-friendly township featuring wide roads, underground power cabling, a dedicated 100-acre Edutech City, and approximately 130 acres allocated for parks and green spaces.
The scheme will also include around 60 group housing plots with plans for 10,000 flats, targeting provision for 5,000 housing units for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low-Income Groups (LIG), benefitting over 25,000 residents. Additionally, 3,000 houses are scheduled to be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). A unique aspect of this initiative is its branding as the city’s first zero-liquid-discharge township, employing advanced solid waste management systems.
