NEW DELHI: All 152 flats released by the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) ‘Apna Ghar Awas Yojana’ were booked within an hour of their launch on Friday, projected to generate a revenue of ₹100 crores, according to officials.

The DDA offered 152 additional flats on a first-come-first-served basis, which includes 76 middle-income group (MIG) flats at Lok Nayak Puram, block D, and 76 economically weaker section (EWS) flats in Narela’s sector A1-A4, block G.

“The scheme elicited a remarkable response from the public, with all additional flats booked within just one hour. To meet the ongoing public demand for affordable housing, the DDA has extended the scheme by three months, now running until November 26, 2025,” the DDA stated.

According to the DDA, ready-to-move-in flats are available for booking in various categories and locations across Delhi.

“The Lok Nayak Puram and Narela flats have been frequently offered under different schemes since 2023. However, the rapid sale of these units is a direct result of the DDA’s innovative sales and marketing strategies implemented under the supervision of Lt Governor VK Saxena,” the statement added.

This extension provides the public with greater opportunities to access quality housing options.

The DDA remains committed to improving housing accessibility and facilitating home ownership through a transparent and fully online process.
