NEW DELHI: As of March this year, the liabilities of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) totaled approximately Rs 17,000 crore, the Lok Sabha was informed on Thursday.
Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu, stated in a written response that the DDA has confirmed that all liabilities are paid promptly.
The minister noted that no instances of mismanagement or administrative inefficiency have been observed within the land-owning agency.
According to the data provided, DDA’s liabilities amounted to Rs 16,987.98 crore as of March 31, 2025.
The agency also updated its housing inventory statistics in Narela. Out of 62,801 constructed flats in the sub-city, 31,314 have been allotted, leaving 31,487 units unsold. Overall, DDA has 34,052 unsold flats across Delhi.
The minister announced that a total of 1,026 MIG two BHK flats in Karkardooma will be offered under the DDA Towering Heights Karkardooma Housing Scheme 2025 within the current financial year.
Additionally, 3,666 flats, which include 900 HIG (3-BHK), 1,750 MIG (2-BHK), and 1,016 EWS flats in Pocket 11, Sector A1 to A4, Narela, are also expected to be available this financial year.
