BENGALURU: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has released a new notification detailing the fee structure for building construction approvals under the GBA Act. This includes fees for plan approvals, revised plan approvals, and plinth certificates, which were previously charged under the BBMP Act and have now been re-established under the new legislation.
According to the announcement, fees will be calculated based on the prevailing guidance value of the site and the total built-up area of the building, measured on a per square metre basis. The minimum guidance value for calculations will be set at Rs 50,000 per sqm.
The inspection fee for plan approvals has been established at 0.009% for residential buildings and 0.014% for non-residential and commercial buildings.
Basic amenities and environmental impact fees, which apply for a licence period of five years, have been set at 0.10% for residential buildings and 0.25% for non-residential and commercial buildings. The fee for issuing a plinth certificate is set at 0.11% for residential buildings and 0.18% for non-residential and commercial structures.
