NEW DELHI: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to launch its Premium Housing Scheme 2025 by the end of August, featuring approximately 250 flats as well as car and scooter garages available through e-auctions in various areas including Jahangirpuri, Nand Nagri, Pitampura, Ashok Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Rohini, and Shalimar Bagh.
The scheme, which gained approval during a meeting led by LG VK Saxena on July 11, includes 39 high-income group flats in Vasant Kunj, Pocket 9B in Jasola, and Sector 19B in Dwarka; 48 middle-income group units in Jahangirpuri, Nand Nagri, Dwarka, and Pitampura; and 22 low-income group flats in Rohini.
“This initiative also encompasses 16 car garages in Pitampura and 51 scooter garages in Mall Road and Ashok Vihar, thereby providing comprehensive housing and parking options in some of Delhi’s key localities,” stated the authority.
The pricing will vary across categories. For instance, HIG flats will have reserved prices between Rs 1.64 crore and Rs 2.54 crore, while MIG flats range from Rs 60 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore, and LIG flats from Rs 39 lakh to Rs 54 lakh.
Officials confirmed that upon the launch of this policy, the ongoing “Apna Ghar Awaas Yojana 2025,” which offers 7,500 residential units in areas such as Narela, Loknayakpuram, and Siraspur at 15-25% discounted rates for various categories including EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG, will be temporarily halted.
This third scheme includes 564 LIG flats in Siraspur, along with 150 LIG and 96 MIG flats in Loknayakpuram. Narela offers 694 EWS flats, 5,384 LIG flats, 386 MIG flats, and 226 HIG flats. A 25% discount is available on LIG flats in Loknayakpuram, Narela, and Siraspur, while a 15% discount is applicable to EWS, MIG, and HIG flats in Narela and MIG flats in Loknayakpuram.
Authorities stated that the DDA has implemented various buyer-friendly initiatives in recent years, which have enhanced public confidence in the organization.
