NEW DELHI: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has successfully sold 830 flats within a month of launching the Apna Ghar Awaas Yojana 2025, with 630, or 75%, of the units located in Narela.
Officials reported that 150 flats were sold in Loknayakpuram and 50 in Siraspur. “The scheme’s impressive progress is particularly noticeable in Narela, where all 115 EWS flats in Sector A1 A4 were sold out. Moreover, the MIG flats in Loknayakpuram are nearly fully booked,” an official stated.
This initiative presents ready-to-move-in homes at discounted prices across several categories, including those for economically weaker sections (EWS), low-income groups (LIG), middle-income groups (MIG), and high-income groups (HIG). “The registration for this fully online scheme began on May 27. Its key attributes include a first-come, first-served policy, availability of ready-to-move-in flats, and the option for potential buyers to visit sample flats on site,” the official continued. Interested buyers can also visit the official DDA website, [DDA E-Services](https://eservices.dda.org.in), to review available flats.
“DDA has introduced various buyer-friendly features, including a consolidated online inquiry portal, improved communication with customers, and thorough documentation for property transfers,” the official added. The authority aims to promote the scheme, which consists of 7,500 units available at a substantial discount of 25% for LIG flats and 15% for EWS, MIG, and HIG categories.
During the launch, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena introduced a dedicated chat-bot service for DDA housing schemes, providing around-the-clock support to citizens, enhancing communication, and ensuring public transparency regarding DDA’s housing offerings.
“Efforts are underway to enhance infrastructure and connectivity in these regions. The DDA is collaborating with other agencies for the development of an education hub, Urban Extension Road-2, and the approval of the Rithala-Narela-Kundali metro rail corridor. The flats at Siraspur are conveniently located near GT Karnal Road and the Samaypur Badli metro station,” the official added.
Registrations for the flats will remain open until August 26, with the possibility of extension. Individuals can reserve units on the DDA website after submitting the necessary booking amounts.
