NEW DELHI: Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a 2.67-acre land parcel in Ayodhya for ₹35 crore from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). The deal was finalized by Rajesh Yadav, managing director of AB Corp.
This marks Bachchan’s third investment in Ayodhya through the company. In January 2024, he acquired land in The Sarayu project and previously bought a 10,000 sq ft plot in the Sol de Alibaug project.
NEW DELHI: Suraj Estate Developers has successfully acquired 100% of the shares of Hally Pacific, which owns a vacant land parcel located at Sayani Road, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. This acquisition was finalized based on a share purchase agreement dated February 20, 2026, for a total amount of approximately ₹30.40 crore, making Hally Pacific a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. KOLKATA: The largest association of developers in the state has contacted Chief Secretary Manoj Pant regarding a recent amendment to the query requisition form used for assessing stamp duty and registration fees by the Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue. MUMBAI: On Tuesday, the Maharashtra Cabinet approved a scheme aimed at redeveloping slums in Mumbai into integrated housing projects that will improve living conditions and urban infrastructure. The Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA), a state agency, will implement this redevelopment initiative, which is designed to accelerate large-scale slum redevelopment and enhance urban infrastructure in the financial capital.
