NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has proposed a cutting-edge 500-acre FinTech Hub in Sector 11, near the Noida International Airport, and has released an expression of interest (EOI) for its development.
This hub aims to create a premier financial ecosystem and will include essential financial services, transaction processing centers, IT and digital services, and customer support operations, establishing the region as a key FinTech destination. March 18, 2026, is the deadline for submission of applications from potential developers. The EOI also allows for the construction of corporate offices, conference facilities, auditoriums, cultural centers, kiosks, health clubs, and various support infrastructures within the hub.
Shailendra Bhatia, the Additional CEO of the Yamuna Authority, mentioned that with the upcoming operations at the Noida International Airport and the presence of private companies, the region is now ripe for this hub’s establishment.
“We previously conducted two stakeholder meetings to gather input on the project. Following that, we resolved to engage an agency to recommend project modalities and assess whether it should proceed through a public-private partnership, leasing model, or another approach. This is a significant project, and total investment will be evaluated in the next phase,” Bhatia stated.
The proposed hub is designed to be a central hub for financial services, targeting IT and ITes companies, innovation-centric businesses, and startups focused on digital banking, app-based lending, stock exchanges, electronic payment systems, insurtech, and international money transfers.
Designated as “institutional” in the YEIDA Phase I Master Plan 2041, Sector 11 is deemed suitable for this proposed development.
This initiative aims to position Noida among cities cultivating specific FinTech ecosystems. Mumbai has already launched a FinTech policy and is in the process of developing a 30-million-square-foot hub. GIFT City in Gujarat spans 886 acres, including a 261-acre Special Economic Zone, while Chennai has introduced a FinTech hub in Nandambakkam. This marks yet another major project in the YEIDA region, which extends along the 165-km-long expressway.
