NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to conduct a draw for its residential plot scheme in Sector 18 this Friday.

Launched on April 21, the scheme offers 276 plots of 200 sqm each and has attracted over 54,000 applications during the month-long registration period.

The draw will commence at 10 AM at India Expo Mart, overseen by a panel of three retired High Court judges to ensure transparency. OSD Shailendra Bhatia noted that arrangements are in place for approximately 2,000 attendees to watch the draw live.

The entire event will be streamed live on YEIDA’s website and on DD News UP, as well as via YouTube, Facebook, and other official social media channels. In addition, the proceedings will be documented with photographs and recordings to maintain a clear record.

Out of the 54,289 applications, 64 were disqualified due to incomplete documentation. After resolving objections, a final list of 54,225 eligible applicants is ready for the draw.

Residential land prices in the area have been revised to ₹35,000 per sqm, marking a 35% increase from the previous ₹25,900 rate. Successful applicants will need to pay a ₹7 lakh registration fee (10%), with the balance due within 60 days of allotment. Allottees must complete construction within three years of signing the lease deed, or else they will incur extension charges.

Allotment letters will be issued shortly after the draw. For those not receiving plots, YEIDA will refund the booking amount directly to their bank accounts.

The plots are situated in Sector 18, Pocket 9B, close to the upcoming Noida International Airport.
