NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) finalized the allotment process for two significant schemes on Friday. These include industrial plots related to its MSME, Toy Park, Apparel Park, and Handicraft Park initiatives, as well as plots for the Medical Device Park scheme. A total of 49 plots have been allocated across both schemes, which are projected to attract nearly ₹800 crore in investments.

In the industrial plot scheme, which was open for applications from May 8 to July 31, YEIDA offered 37 plots of up to 8,000 sqm in sectors 29, 32, and 33. From 527 applications received, 448 were deemed eligible after assessment by a consulting firm. During the e-auction held on Friday, all 37 plots were assigned — 22 to general/MSME units, two to the Toy Park, eight to the Apparel Park, and five to the Handicraft Park. Officials estimate these projects alone could generate approximately ₹700 crore in investment and create around 3,000 jobs.

The Medical Device Park scheme, which was available from June 16 to August 6, featured 21 plots in Sector 28. It garnered 48 applications, out of which 20 were found suitable.

In a draw conducted on September 22, 12 plots were allocated to companies involved in medical device production — including two focused on cancer care, three on radiology and imaging, one in implants, three in anaesthesia and cardio-respiratory devices, and three in in-vitro diagnostics. Officials have stated that the nine unallocated plots will be included in the upcoming scheme.
