HYDERABAD: The Registration and Stamps Department is set to launch e-Aadhaar-based property registration, aimed at expediting services, announced Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday. The pilot project will be implemented at the sub-registrar offices (SROs) in Armoor and Kusumanchi.
The minister highlighted various ongoing reforms, including a slot booking system for registrations that has proven popular. “In just the last two to three months, over 300,000 slots have been reserved across sub-registrar offices throughout the state,” he noted.
The government also plans to establish integrated sub-registrar offices across Telangana. A new complex will soon be constructed in Gachibowli, where Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is expected to lay the foundation stone. As part of this initiative, about 39 SROs located in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal, and Sangareddy districts will be consolidated into 11 integrated registration offices in the coming years. The Gandipet, Serilingampally, and Rajendranagar SROs will relocate to the new Gachibowli complex, as mentioned by the minister.
