Telangana deposits ₹2,223 crore to Indiramma scheme beneficiaries


HYDERABAD: VP Gautam, managing director of the Telangana Housing Corporation, announced that the state government has deposited ₹2,223 crore this year into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the Indiramma housing scheme.

“Funds are transferred directly to each beneficiary’s account every Monday, based on construction progress for each house. This week alone, ₹252 crore was credited to 22,305 accounts, marking the largest weekly disbursement since the scheme’s launch,” Gautam stated.

With this latest transfer, total funds allocated under the Indiramma Indlu scheme have reached ₹2,233 crore. Gautam noted that construction is advancing well, with approximately 2.18 lakh houses at various stages of completion statewide.

“The government is dedicated to providing timely financial support to beneficiaries, ensuring they can complete their homes without delays,” Gautam added.
