VIJAYAWADA: State govt directed the officials to ready the guidelines for repealing the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006. The Nala Act governs the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use. VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh real estate regulatory authority (APRERA) in-charge chairman and municipal administration principal secretary S Suresh Kumar has cautioned public against purchasing flats in the apartments or plots in layouts which were not registered with the AP RERA. He said that such purchases would land prospective buyers in trouble. “It has come to our notice that some developers/promoters/builders are collecting advance payments from buyers under the guise of ‘pre-launch’ activities for proposed real estate projects prior to obtaining registration with APRERA.
