UP-RERA Revises Rules: Complaints in Unregistered Projects Allowed
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has announced the 10th amendment to its General Regulations, 2019. The amendments, which are effective from March 25, 2026, were made under Section 85 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. Significant revisions have been introduced in Regulations 24 and 47 to address the ongoing issues faced by homebuyers, especially concerning unregistered projects and transfer charges.
