HYDERABAD: In preparation for the upcoming panchayat elections, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, alongside Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, is set to inaugurate ‘gruhapravesam’ (housewarming) ceremonies for newly built Indiramma houses by the end of this month. The Chief Minister is expected to participate in a ceremony in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district, though the exact location is yet to be confirmed. HYDERABAD: Hopes for swift central funding for the initial phase of the Revanth Reddy government’s ambitious Indiramma housing scheme in rural areas faced a setback. The Union Housing Ministry communicated to the state that the submitted proposals do not meet the required norms. The state government submitted a list of housing beneficiaries to secure funds under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) scheme.
